The Benefits of AERCO Boilers

If you’re looking to decrease your company’s environmental impact and operational expenditure, learn the difference between traditional water heating systems and AERCO condensing gas boilers to help make a more informed decision.

Condensing Boilers

Condensing boilers are an energy-efficient, reliable, and versatile solution for a company’s heating needs. Condensing boilers are water heaters powered by gas or oil. They convert water vapor condensation into heat, which makes them energy efficient. Because of this process, they provide ample heat for commercial buildings while operating at lower temperatures.

Essentially, condensing boilers are engineered to recover more heat from wasted gas, resulting in warmer temperatures while using less energy. Once the boiler burns, the heat distributes to a primary exchanger. As the heat travels through the exchanger, it’s warmed there for as long as possible. After the temperature rises, the heat is transferred to the radiators.

Traditional Boilers

Non-condensing boilers or traditional boilers burn natural gas or propane and operate at high temperatures. Since traditional boilers are vented outside through a chimney flue or a pipe, carbon dioxide and other emissions return to the atmosphere. Because they operate at a higher temperature and release excess heat and other emissions outside, traditional boilers are 15-30% less efficient than condensing gas boilers.

AERCO Boilers

AERCO boilers are the industry leaders in water heating. For over 65 years, AERCO condensing gas boilers have provided reliable, cost-effective heating solutions for commercial companies worldwide. AERCO brought an innovative dynamic to water heating as it was the first brand to introduce commercial condensing, fully modulating boilers. Here are a few benefits of switching from traditional boilers to AERCO boilers:

Condensing gas boilers operate at a more efficient level than traditional gas boilers—the heat exchangers of condensing gas boilers are built to withstand condensation and function at lower operational temperatures, resulting in less energy consumption and fewer ongoing maintenance issues.

Environmentally Friendly

The heat passing through the boiler’s flue or vents contains harmful chemicals. However, since a condensing gas boiler captures more of released heat and recycles it, it does less harm to the environment.

Minimal Space Needed

Conventional gas boilers take up much more space than a condensing gas boiler, which is a small and compact appliance that can be hidden or tucked into existing space.

Save Money

If you’re thinking of long-term benefits, you’ll save more money on condensing gas boilers. Since they operate at lower temperatures, reducing your energy consumption it results in lower energy bills each month.

A Better Decision for Your Pockets and the Environment

Condensing boilers are industrial pieces of equipment that need to be up-to-date and operate properly to remain safe for your facility. Since 2005, it has become mandatory to install condensing boilers if your old or conventional boiler needs replacing. Our AERCO condensing gas boilers minimize carbon emissions as well, which shrinks your company’s carbon footprint.
