The condenser coil on your air conditioner uses unfiltered outdoor air to reject heat and therefore requires cleaning. A dirty coil that only raises the condensing temperature 10 degrees, reduces capacity 7% and adds 10% in power consumption.

 



Scott Leitner Joins Sales Team

Scott Leitner, a resident of Norway, Ill. has been promoted to sales engineer at Air Comfort Corporation, a full-service heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) contractor based in Broadview, Ill.

In his new position, Leitner, who joined Air Comfort in 1996, manages a service contract base of customers, and sells engineering and construction projects, among other responsibilities. Prior to being promoted, he worked as a service technician at Air Comfort. Leitner is a 1992 graduate of Newark High School and earned an Associates Degree in Science at Waubonsee College.
