Business Challenge

Disassemble and remove existing 1800-ton cooling tower, piping and discharge ductwork and replace with new. The challenges included an accelerated job schedule as well as the job site conditions. The actual installation was on the roof of the 48th floor with access from a single (8 ft x 6 ft) elevator. In order to remove the existing towers and bring in the new tower, they had to be broken down in pieces and moved up to the roof and assembled, including all piping and ductwork.

The Result

The project was completed on time and within budget with as little inconvenience to the client as possible. The client felt that Air Comfort not only met there expectations but exceeded them.
